agricultura.<br \/>\n         \u00c9 um <strong>componente industrial, tamb\u00e9m utilizado como floculante<\/strong>, uma subst\u00e2ncia que induz a flocula\u00e7\u00e3o, ou seja, a combina\u00e7\u00e3o ou agrega\u00e7\u00e3o de part\u00edculas s\u00f3lidas suspensas.<br \/>\n         O processo de flocula\u00e7\u00e3o consiste na desestabiliza\u00e7\u00e3o das part\u00edculas coloidais atrav\u00e9s da adi\u00e7\u00e3o do floculante.\n        <\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso, tem <strong>as seguintes aplica\u00e7\u00f5es industriais<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Purificador de solu\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e1cidas.\n        <\/li>\n<li>Potenciador do glifosato.\n        <\/li>\n<li>Retardador de chama.\n        <\/li>\n<li>Aditivo alimentar.\n        <\/li>\n<li>Purifica\u00e7\u00e3o de prote\u00ednas atrav\u00e9s de precipita\u00e7\u00e3o fracionada.\n        <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>O QUE \u00c9 O SULFATO DE AM\u00d3NIO?<br \/>\n        <\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O sulfato de am\u00f3nio constitui um <strong>sal formado atrav\u00e9s da rea\u00e7\u00e3o entre o amon\u00edaco e o \u00e1cido sulf\u00farico.<\/strong> Comercialmente, pode ser encontrado sob a forma de cristais ou de gr\u00e2nulos de cor branca a bege.<br \/>\n         O seu conte\u00fado \u00e9 o seguinte:\n        <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>21% de azoto<br \/>\n        <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>60% de enxofre<br \/>\n        <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c9 a <strong>fonte mais acess\u00edvel de azoto de baixa concentra\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>, tem uma utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o muito generalizada na agricultura e \u00e9 tamb\u00e9m um componente relevante na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de f\u00f3rmulas equilibradas de fertiliza\u00e7\u00e3o.<br \/>\n         <strong>\u00c9 amplamente aplicado no solo de forma direta como mono produto<br \/>\n        <\/strong>\u00c9 uma excelente fonte de fertiliza\u00e7\u00e3o<br \/>\n         <strong>em culturas que extraem grandes quantidades de enxofre do solo,<br \/>\n         <\/strong>tais como as culturas forrageiras, os produtos hort\u00edcolas (cruc\u00edferas, cebola e alho), os cereais (trigo e cevada) e as gram\u00edneas (milho, sorgo e cana de a\u00e7\u00facar), entre outras.\n        <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cont\u00e9m principalmente am\u00f3nio (NH)<br \/>\n        <sub>4<\/sub><sup>+<\/sup>e Sulfato (SO)<br \/>\n        <sub>4-2<\/sub>), <strong>\u00c9 um produto de pH \u00e1cido, recomendado para aplica\u00e7\u00e3o em solos calc\u00e1rios e alcalinos devido ao seu forte efeito acidificante.<br \/>\n        <\/strong> A sua utilidade como fertilizante deve-se a que a necessidade de enxofre est\u00e1 estreitamente relacionada com a quantidade de azoto dispon\u00edvel para a planta, pelo que o sulfato de am\u00f3nio proporciona um fornecimento equilibrado de ambos os nutrientes.\n        <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Na agricultura convencional, continua a ser utilizado massivamente, sobretudo em <strong>culturas menos rent\u00e1veis e como fonte importante de azoto<\/strong> acompanhado de enxofre, um precursor na sua assimila\u00e7\u00e3o.<br \/>\n         Assim, <strong>n\u00e3o \u00e9 um adubo ecol\u00f3gico,<\/strong> uma vez que o seu processo \u00e9 obtido por transforma\u00e7\u00f5es de s\u00edntese e, consequentemente, n\u00e3o est\u00e1 inclu\u00eddo na legisla\u00e7\u00e3o europeia em mat\u00e9ria de agricultura biol\u00f3gica.\n        <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">No campo, \u00e9 conhecido como um <strong>bom adubo utilizado tanto em culturas extensivas como intensivas com dupla a\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>, uma vez que proporciona dois macronutrientes que se somam ao seu teor de enxofre, o que favorece as condi\u00e7\u00f5es f\u00edsicas e qu\u00edmicas dos solos das culturas.\n        <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Otimizando a dose e a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o no solo das culturas, o <strong>sulfato de am\u00f3nio<\/strong> \u00e9 uma fonte muito <strong>boa de fornecimento deste elemento, sendo f\u00e1cil de misturar e utilizar<\/strong>.<br \/>\n         A forma de am\u00f3nio \u00e9 normalmente assimilada rapidamente pelas culturas, ainda que em grandes quantidades se possa tornar fitot\u00f3xica para a planta.<br \/>\n         De facto, na hidroponia a sua utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 limitada a um m\u00e1ximo de 15-20% da percentagem total do azoto, sendo os restantes 80-85% azoto n\u00edtrico.\n        <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O enxofre inorg\u00e2nico do solo \u00e9 absorvido pelas plantas principalmente como ani\u00e3o sulfato e, devido \u00e0 sua carga negativa, n\u00e3o \u00e9 atra\u00eddo pelas argilas do solo e coloides inorg\u00e2nicos;<br \/>\n         <strong>O enxofre \u00e9 mantido na solu\u00e7\u00e3o do solo, movendo-se com o fluxo da \u00e1gua, sendo por isso f\u00e1cil de lixiviar.<br \/>\n        <\/strong>. Em alguns solos, esta lixivia\u00e7\u00e3o acumula enxofre no subsolo, o qual pode ser utilizado por culturas de ra\u00edzes profundas.<br \/>\n         O risco de lixivia\u00e7\u00e3o do mesmo \u00e9 mais elevado nos solos arenosos do que nos solos de textura franca ou argilosa.\n        <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Os solos com baixo teor de mat\u00e9ria org\u00e2nica (&lt;2%) apresentam habitualmente defici\u00eancias de enxofre; cada unidade percentual de mat\u00e9ria org\u00e2nica <strong>liberta aproximadamente 6&nbsp;kg deste por ha por ano.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nas plantas, o azoto e o enxofre t\u00eam uma rela\u00e7\u00e3o muito estreita no papel nutricional destas.<br \/>\n         Tal deve-se ao facto de <strong>ambos os nutrientes serem constituintes das 5 prote\u00ednas (amino\u00e1cidos) e estarem associados \u00e0 forma\u00e7\u00e3o da clorofila<\/strong> (envolvida no processo de fotoss\u00edntese).\n        <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>PROCESSO DE OBTEN\u00c7\u00c3O<br \/>\n        <\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A obten\u00e7\u00e3o do sulfato de am\u00f3nio como produto industrial constitui a <strong>transforma\u00e7\u00e3o do amon\u00edaco gasoso (NH<sub>3<\/sub>), misturado com vapor de \u00e1gua para criar satura\u00e7\u00e3o, e a incorpora\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1cido sulf\u00farico.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta rea\u00e7\u00e3o, realizada de forma controlada, transforma-se na mistura de enxofre (SO<sub>4<\/sub>) e am\u00f3nio (NH<sub>4<\/sub>), que, por ser atacado com um \u00e1cido, incorpora mais um hidrog\u00e9nio (H) na f\u00f3rmula.\n        <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>PROPRIEDADES QU\u00cdMICAS<br \/>\n        <\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Todo o azoto deste fertilizante \u00e9 apresentado sob <strong>forma amoniacal<\/strong>.<br \/>\n         Ainda que seja altamente assimil\u00e1vel pela planta, \u00e9 prefer\u00edvel que esta o absorva de forma n\u00edtrica.\n        <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O seu comportamento no solo \u00e9 bom, pois por ter carga positiva \u00e9 fixado no complexo argilo-h\u00famico e n\u00e3o lixivia tanto em campos profundos (como acontece sob a forma n\u00edtrica).\n        <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A presen\u00e7a de <strong>microrganismos nitrificantes<\/strong> (nitrobact\u00e9rias e nitrossomonas, entre outros) facilita a sua transforma\u00e7\u00e3o em n\u00edtrico.<br \/>\n         Como \u00e9 de <strong>rea\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e1cida<\/strong>, \u00e9 utilizado para acidificar solos com pH alcalino e elevada presen\u00e7a de c\u00e1lcio e magn\u00e9sio n\u00e3o sol\u00faveis.<br \/>\n         Al\u00e9m disso, o enxofre incorporado no fertilizante melhora a disponibilidade do azoto e atua de forma sin\u00e9rgica na sua assimila\u00e7\u00e3o.\n        <\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>TIPOS DE SULFATO DE AM\u00d3NIO<br \/>\n        <\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"color: #537caf;\">Sulfato de am\u00f3nio em p\u00f3: <\/strong>a sua apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 na forma s\u00f3lida, mas em p\u00f3, facilmente sol\u00favel.<br \/>\n         \u00c9 amplamente utilizado e \u00e9 adequado para preparar solu\u00e7\u00f5es l\u00edquidas para fertirriga\u00e7\u00e3o.<br \/>\n         Por ser altamente sol\u00favel, este fertilizante deve <strong>sempre ser aplicado como cobertura<\/strong>ou seja, quando as culturas j\u00e1 est\u00e3o plantadas.\n        <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"color: #537caf;\">Sulfato de am\u00f3nio l\u00edquido:<\/strong> possui uma alta solubilidade, mas inferior a outros fertilizantes, como o nitrato de am\u00f3nio.<br \/>\n         Em determinados casos, o agricultor prefere trabalhar com f\u00f3rmulas l\u00edquidas de sulfato de am\u00f3nio j\u00e1 solubilizadas.<br \/>\n         Uma f\u00f3rmula concentrada corresponde \u00e0 dilui\u00e7\u00e3o de at\u00e9 40% do fertilizante, obtendo uma concentra\u00e7\u00e3o de azoto de 8,4% p\/p e de enxofre (SO<sub>3<\/sub>) de 24% p\/p\n        <\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong style=\"color: #537caf;\">Sulfato de am\u00f3nio granulado:<\/strong> a sua principal caracter\u00edstica \u00e9 ser lentamente sol\u00favel e \u00e9 utilizado na pr\u00e9-semea\u00e7\u00e3o e em culturas arb\u00f3reas.<br \/>\n         Quando n\u00e3o \u00e9 poss\u00edvel incorporar \u00e1gua atrav\u00e9s de fertirriga\u00e7\u00e3o (per\u00edodo de chuvas ou encharcamentos).<br \/>\n         Cont\u00e9m a mesma riqueza de qualquer outra f\u00f3rmula e a sua aplica\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 bastante comum em culturas como amendoeiras, olivais ou \u00e1rvores de frutas, sobretudo na \u00e9poca de abrolhamento e desenvolvimento de novas folhas.\n        <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>BENEF\u00cdCIOS PARA AS CULTURAS<br \/>\n        <\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Representa uma <strong>fonte econ\u00f3mica de nutrientes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Permite fabricar <strong>misturas s\u00f3lidas mais uniformes<\/strong> com outros produtos granulados.\n        <\/li>\n<li>\u00c9 muito <strong>vers\u00e1til <\/strong>na sua aplica\u00e7\u00e3o, tanto em termos de tempo (primavera, ver\u00e3o\u2026) como de tipologia dos solos.\n        <\/li>\n<li>Favorece o <strong>crescimento r\u00e1pido<\/strong>, o desempenho e a rentabilidade da cultura.\n
