{"id":12549,"date":"2022-09-19T14:10:06","date_gmt":"2022-09-19T12:10:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.dfgrupo.com\/giving-the-land-back-everything-it-gives-us\/"},"modified":"2022-09-19T14:10:06","modified_gmt":"2022-09-19T12:10:06","slug":"giving-the-land-back-everything-it-gives-us","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.dfgrupo.com\/en\/giving-the-land-back-everything-it-gives-us\/","title":{"rendered":"Giving the land back everything it gives us"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At DF GROUP, we have started a <\/span><b>new stage in our social responsibility.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Following on in our attitude, which strives to continue with the environmental commitment that characterises us, yet <\/span><b>placing particular emphasis on GIVING THE LAND BACK EVERYTHING IT GIVES US.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This new point of view aims to <\/span><b>lessen our impact<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and help achieve <\/span><b>a more sustainable future.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are starting our mission by collaborating with <\/span><b>Acobija, <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a non-profit organisation from Aragon<\/span><b> which aims to protect and preserve the biodiversity and natural heritage of the Ebro river basin, <\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">promoting projects to ensure the conservation and regeneration of the environmental heritage.<br \/>\n         A partnership that will serve to develop local projects leading to a<br \/>\n         <\/span><b>improvement of natural resources that add value to the rural environment<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, encouraging social development and promoting environmental activities in the district of Calatayud.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Through this partnership, we obtain<br \/>\n        <\/span><b> the Empresa Pro-Biodiversidad ORO hallmark, making us the main sponsor of the \u201cSmall Scavenger Birds for Biodiversity\u201d project.<br \/>\n         <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This project was created to tackle one of the main environmental challenges today: to halt the loss of biodiversity through local projects implemented on the ground.<br \/>\n        <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Feeding point for birds<br \/>\n        <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Together, <\/span><b>we will build and manage a supplementary feeding point for scavenger birds<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that will improve the condition of the populations in general, and of the Egyptian vulture and the red kite in particular.<br \/>\n         Both species are listed as<br \/>\n         <\/span><b>vulnerable in Spain and endangered in Europe,<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and they use this land to spend the summer and reproduce.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u200bThis conservation project is located in the district of Calatayud, given its <\/span><b>strategic location as part of the Iberian System of Zaragoza<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, its orography, and its optimal natural structures for the settlement and reproduction of the target species.<br \/>\n         In addition, the Iberian System is a<br \/>\n         <\/span><b>biological corridor and transitory area<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for a large number of species of scavenger birds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Therefore, the location of this <\/span><b>supplementary feeding point<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">will help keep this area in the best conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For more information on the projects being implemented by Acobija, please go to<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.acobijaconservacion.org\/\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/www.acobijaconservacion.org\/<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At DF GROUP, we have started a new stage in our social responsibility.
