Plants that are properly fertilized will give higher yields. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dfgrupo.com\/convencionales\/nitrogeno\/\">Nitrogen captured by maize plants accumulates in stems and leaves, promoting photosynthesis<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This <strong>promotes yield growth, especially during flowering<\/strong>, which is directly related to the amount of seeds per cob.<\/p>\n<p>Increased nitrogen availability also has a positive effect on grain filling. <strong>Nutrients, including nitrogen, accumulate in the stems and leaves that move toward the seeds<\/strong>. Nitrogen stored in grains is essential to continue growing. In conditions of low fertility, this characteristic would define the level of yield achievable by the crop.
